The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker is a concert extravaganza by musician, producer, and Golden Mask laureate Petr Glavatskikh based on the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky. To hear the great music of Tchaikovsky framed by the composers whom Pyotr Ilyich loved, appreciated, and whose music inspired him. To feel the pulse of today in timeless classics, to sense the New Year's atmosphere in the Rachmaninov Hall of the Conservatory is a musical gift. Petr Glavatskikh finds inspiration in the harmony of incompatible elements. He will present a completely new Nutcracker to the sounds of marimba, harp, and piano, which can create a truly magical atmosphere of a New Year's miracle.
With the participation of the young virtuoso Varvara Kutuzova (piano) and Anna Shkurovskaya (harp).
Varvara Kutuzova is a laureate of 7 international children's and youth competitions and a scholarship holder of the Vladimir Spivakov charitable foundations, "New Names".
Anna Shkurovskaya is an active concert performer in ensemble and orchestra, and is a laureate of the International Competition "Classical Heritage", the International Competition of Chamber Ensembles in France and others.
The premiere took place on 29 of December in 2022 in the Rachmaninov Hall of the Conservatory in Moscow.
